You might just want to get a new basecoin address or send Veil when the recipient has not given you a stealth address. You will need to get to the Debug Console, a window for typing or pasting text-based commands.

In the wallet, click the Settings icon.

Then click "Advanced options".

This will reveal the Debug Window.

Click the Console tab to reveal the Debug Console.

Type in the command line text box. It will give you typing suggestions. You can even type help and begin typing a command and it will autocomplete and give you help on the options for the command!

With the example above, by the way, most people just use a new basecoin address even for mining. Either a basecoin or a mining address will work for mining with a third-party ProgPow mining program. Rewards will appear as basecoin amounts. If mining in-wallet (with SHA256D or RandomX) it's not necessary to generate an address. Rewards will automatically come into your basecoin balance on the wallet. The other reason to generate a new basecoin (bv...) address is to receive Veil from an exchange. Otherwise, stealth (sv...) addresses are the proper, private addresses to use in Veil.
